Nando Restaurant, Milton Keynes, UK

There are more than 1000 Nando’s restaurants worldwide. Every restaurant has a different front of house, but they all have the same menu and back of house operations. For the new restaurant in Milton Keynes we were asked to propose and implement a new design approach for the chain. The result was a decidedly contemporary design, reflecting the character of the iconic “New Town” Milton Keynes, while embracing the Portuguese, Dutch and African influences which exist side by side in South Africa, the birthplace of Nando’s.
